Smoothies are a great breakfast if you’re on the go or just want something nice and refreshing. I have a smoothie a lot of the time because they’re a great way to get some much needed fruit and veg into your diet. Pack it with loads of goodness and you won’t be left hungry! I much prefer to make my own rather than buy a smoothie out somewhere, they can be quite costly if you buy them from shops and when you’re making them yourself you know exactly what is going in them. They’re really versatile too, you can change the recipe every day and never get bored. Try my green smoothie packed with oodles of goodness today!

Goodness Greeness Me!

  • handful of spinach
  • banana
  • couple of inches of cucumber/celery
  • almond/coconut/regular milk
  • handful of blueberries
  • handful of raspberries
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 1 Tblspn flax seed
  • small handful of almonds (for some texture)

  1. Put all your ingredients in a blender, you can use a Nutri Bullet if you have one or something similar but I use a regular kitchen blender and fill the plastic beaker, and blitz! You may want to blend the first few ingredients first so you can make sure everything gets blended evenly. Top up with water or milk if you need to.
  2. Enjoy!
